Our free-standing home has been a great place for our family to grow up in. We are just off Bridge Rd, so a short stroll from the cafes, shops, pubs & restaurants. It is also a short walk from the river and the stunning bushland opposite the Collingwood Children's farm. The house is three-bedroom, with sunny open-plan living and a grassy landscaped backyard that complements outdoor living. We have used the house a couple of different ways. Currently, my wife and I run our businesses from home, so it has been both residence and office, which is a great saving on running an external office. We were overseas for a period of time and left it fully-furnished and rented it out for corporate relocation. This was quite a lucrative investment play. We estimated that our return was about twice the rental rate of the day. In times like now, when the rental market is soaring, this could be a very sound option. Whoever buys it will have a great deal of fun here - and it is great to be in bricks and mortar in uncertain times. Richmond isn't going backwards!
