Ever wanted to experience driving from the golden age of motoring? Hire our 1957 MGA for a day and go back to a time when cars were built with heart and soul! After driving the MGA for the day, you’ll know why we call the classic MGA the ‘Happy Car’!

If you can imagine driving a 900Kg go kart, you will have some appreciation of the feeling of driving the MGA. You will be able to pick up the MGA the night before your car hire day to give you the maximum time to enjoy this fun, classic car!

On arrival at our workshop, we will present you with your classic car document pack for the day. This pack includes a history of the car you’ll be driving, some suggested routes to drive during your day, as well as the more formal documents that we’ll need to complete with you.

You’ll then spend some time with us going over some of the individual features of the car to make sure that you are comfortable driving it, before heading off. After that, you’ll be left to enjoy driving the car (although feel free to call with any questions) before returning it to the pick up point the next day.

Perhaps the best thing about the MGA is that it is a true sports car, providing very hands on motoring, with absolutely no ‘mod-cons’ to distract!

There is debate about whether the lack of door handles was due to aerodynamic efficiency claimed at the time or that they were just cheaper to build. However, there is no doubt about the resultant classic lines of the MGA, it truly is a beautiful classic sports car!
